I did find a down side to my style of choice this week, and it was my gel. After the hair dried, For the first time EVER -My hair dried white, with flaky white residue. Ewwww.

Looks good! What I learned from JazzWife is that coconut oil plus gel plus cold temps equals white flakes. So, has it been cold down there in the lone star state? If so using coconut oil with gel can cause white flakes. That's why I use jojoba oil because I live in MN and today's high was 14 degrees.
